01 · Cipher
Rookie
Forgiving.
Leaves enough breadcrumbs to learn the loop. Beat the Rookie and the rest of the game opens up.
iOS · iPhone
A pure deduction puzzle. Pass-and-play with a friend, hunt three AI opponents, or sharpen yourself on one Daily Challenge a day.
The mechanic
Every guess returns counts, not positions. The game tells you how many you hit. Where they land is yours to figure out.
Right digit, right slot. You found a fixed point. Now isolate the others.
Right digit, wrong slot. You know it's in the code. You don't know where.
Not in the code. The whole digit is gone. Cross it off and move on.
Solo mode
Pick the AI that matches your patience. Each tier picks its codes and reads your guesses with a different kind of cruelty.
01 · Cipher
Forgiving.
Leaves enough breadcrumbs to learn the loop. Beat the Rookie and the rest of the game opens up.
02 · Vault
Steady.
Won't gift you the win. Won't hunt you down. The middle line where deduction actually has to work.
03 · Echo
Relentless.
Plays the optimal counter to your last guess. Most games end with the Impossible AI solving you in five.
Daily Challenge
Same seed, same puzzle, every player. Solve it before midnight, build the streak, share the emoji grid.
For your brain
Most mobile games are designed to consume your attention. TriCode is designed to sharpen it. The mechanic only rewards focus, working memory, and deduction. There's nothing else to optimize for.
You hold partial information across guesses. The game does not summarize. You do.
Each guess narrows the space. Spotting which digit can't be in which slot is the entire skill.
There is no luck. No probability layer. A perfect solver wins in five. You can train to get closer.
A round ends. The Daily ends. There is no infinite scroll. Play, finish, put the phone down.
We don't claim health outcomes. We just refuse to design against your attention.
The anti-game-design promise
A list of patterns the mobile game industry treats as default. TriCode opts out of all of them, by design, forever.
Not on launch. Not in v2. Not as a banner, an interstitial, or a rewarded video.
No email. No login. No social graph. You don't exist to a server.
Zero analytics. Zero third-party SDKs. The privacy nutrition label reads Data Not Collected.
Every round has an end state. The Daily is one puzzle, then you leave.
No timers, no cooldowns, no buy-to-keep-playing. One optional one-time unlock for the hard AI, then nothing else to spend on.
No confetti spam, no streak guilt, no notifications begging you back.
Game Center
Optional. Plays nice if you have Game Center signed in. Invisible if you don't.
